Dear Students,

As the Head of the department of English, here I extend my warm welcome to each one of you. Our journey together is not just about academic achievement, but also about personal growth, discovery, and the forging of lifelong friendships. The world outside our campus is rapidly changing, presenting both challenges and opportunities. It's imperative that we, as a learning community, adapt, innovate and prepare ourselves to contribute positively to the development of the world.  

Our faculties have been working tirelessly to enhance our curriculum; integrating practical skills with theoretical knowledge; ensuring that you are not just ready for the job market but are also equipped to be leaders and innovators in your respective fields. All we encourage you to take advantage of the numerous resources available at our department and the activities scheduled for you at our language laboratory,  workshops and seminars. I invite you to engage in research, participate in internships and immerse yourself in all that our department bound to offer. We as a family also aim to strengthen our focus on holistic development. Beyond academics; it is crucial to nurture your mental and emotional well-being.

About Department:-           
                The Department of English aims at to develop students’ personality in all aspects. It is our efforts that students should be fluent in speaking English language. We try to make them competent to live in the society and to be a good citizen, who is always able to do the best for themselves and for the society and nation. English students have tremendous potentialities and our dept. try to the best to achieve their goals for students.
                   Our Department of English was established in 1993 to achieve the goals and aims. Our college is in rural area and it is necessary to do the changes and make them able to face the modern world and for this the knowledge of English language is necessary and we try to build up the personality of students which is essential regarding this goals. English language is backbone of all knowledge and it is the duty of English department to give the best for students.
Objectives:
Ø      To develop English Language, Competencies among learners
Ø     To develop soft skills and communication skills among learners
Ø     To develop the human resource with values
Ø     To develop literary, critical and aesthetic sense among learners
